Efficiency North were shortlisted as finalists for the Business in the Community Award in the 2016 Sheffield Business Awards, in recognition of EN’s social value activities creating employment and training opportunities and backing community projects across Yorkshire & Humber.
The Sheffield Business Awards are designed to recognise and reward success in all sizes of business across a variety of sectors. The Business in the Community Award recognises businesses that show innovation, creativity and a sustained commitment to corporate responsibility and responsible business practice. Entrants had to demonstrate how they have tackled key social and environmental issues in the local community.
Winners were announced at the awards evening hosted by BBC Look North presenter Harry Gration at Sheffield’s Ponds Forge International Sports Centre on 1 December 2016.
