A detached property in the Parkgate area of Rotherham, Vesey Street is a collection of 5 apartments that were renovated by Target to use as short-to-medium term homeless housing provision.

Jenny - Newground Together


As part of a joint employment initiative, EN:Able Communities funds an Employment Advisor at Newground Together who works to get people into work in local communities in Northern England. One person that has been helped to far is Jenny, a single mum of four who was looking for part-time work after being out of work for a number of years.

ECO - Food Save and Share


Edlington Community Organisation provide their local community in Doncaster with a variety of services, ranging from employment support, to counselling; from childcare to training. The Food Share and Save initiative is a great example of how wider community support can translate into learning and employment opportunities in the community.

Let’s Get Online


Let’s Get Online is a project run by Hull City Council that aims to help residents become more comfortable with, and knowledgeable about, technology. By building digital skills, the scheme enables individuals to access services, information, and communication methods that were previously closed to them.

Leeds Action to Create Homes, or Latch, is a charitable organisation that refurbishes derelict and run-down houses in the Chapeltown, Harehills and Burley areas of Leeds. Through their projects they provide not only housing but also training opportunities to those in need.

Voluntary Action North East Lincolnshire
