Keynote speaker TV presenter, architect, writer and campaigner George Clarke

As promised in 2020, George Clarke, architect, writer, campaigner and presenter of TV shows Amazing Spaces, Old House New Home, The Restoration Man and The Home Show, currently spearheading a national campaign to build a new generation of social housing, joined us live to open the conference on Tuesday 23 June with his keynote speech 'Building for future generations'.

Social Value Awards 2021

We again recognised rising stars in the region's construction industry in our annual Social Value Awards presentation. Besides the awards for Trade Apprentice of the Year, Technical Apprentice of the Year and Highest Achiever of the Year, we had a new Special Recognition Award in memory of Humber Construction Hub apprentice Ashley Winks, who lost his battle with a rare form of cancer in January.
