EN:Able Futures was born in 2013 as Futureworks (Yorkshire). The not-for-profit Community Interest Company provided clients with a flexible and innovative service to support delivery of apprenticeships across the construction, housing and built environment sectors in technical, trades, administration and manufacturing/distribution roles.
Based in offices beside the M62 at Newport, we work with a range of clients across Yorkshire and the Humber. Our dedicated team works with clients, apprentices and partner organisations to manage all apprenticeship requirements including recruitment, placements, learning provider liaison, pastoral care and on-going mentoring.
After four years of award-winning success, and working closely with Efficiency North to deliver apprenticeship opportunities with social housing landlords, Futureworks joined the Efficiency North family of companies to become EN:Able Futures in 2017.
EN:Able Futures leads the delivery of the Yorkshire and Humber shared apprenticeship scheme, which provides a quality solution to apprenticeship recruitment when employers may not have the resources to take apprentices on a full time basis.
In 2018 we began the development of a ground-breaking academy to offer an alternative route to careers in asset management and property services in social housing.
