Ben joins EN:Able Futures as an Apprentice Bricklayer

He will be hosted by Caddick Group

18 year old Ben has started on his career path into construction by joining EN:Able Futures as an Apprentice Bricklayer. He wants to learn a trade for life and will be attending Sheffield City Council construction sector training centre to complete the Level 2 brickworks apprenticeship standard.

For his work experience Ben joins host Caddick Group where he will be learning his trade on the Efficiency North member Together Housing's development Ferrars Road in Tinsley, Sheffield.

To gain some basic skills and  to familiarise himself with health and safety on a building site in his first week Ben worked on at the Old Pontefract Fire Station development site for another Efficiency North member, WDH. He had already passed his CSCS test which he arranged himself prior to applying for this post.

We look forward to following Ben's progress as his apprenticeship continues.
