After school Oliver went to sixth form and studied Science, Business and Sport. He applied for a few different Engineering Apprenticeships and when this Civil Engineering one came up he thought it felt like what he was looking for.
He sought his Dad’s advice and Oliver then grabbed at the chance to get started.

What difference has doing the apprenticeship made to your life?
He’s learnt a lot. It’s made him see everything within a construction industry because he has a much wider knowledge of all the different job types and what impact they have on site.
What are your aims for your future career?
He’d like to do his HNC/D and potentially do his 2 years degree top-up.
