• All EN:Able Futures apprentice candidates undergo a thorough screening and assessment process.

• Successful EN:Able Futures candidates are directly employed by EN:Able Futures and paid national minimum wage rates.

• All EN:Able Futures apprentices undergo a comprehensive health and safety induction.

• All EN:Able Futures apprentices attend college on day release or block release.

• EN:Able Futures are responsible for arranging and managing all training related to the achievement of the apprenticeship.

• All EN:Able Futures apprentices have a nominated CITB Skills Training Coordinator responsible for reviewing their progress.

• EN:Able Futures places apprentices with local contractors and ensures they complete their apprenticeship successfully.

• All EN:Able Futures apprentices achieving Level 2 have the opportunity to progress to Level 3. 

Benefits for Employers

• All apprentices are directly employed by EN:Able Futures, so all employment responsibilities remain with EN:Able Futures.

• Contractors are not committed to guarantee continuity of employment after an EN:Able Futures apprentice placement has finished.

• Contractors are only charged a weekly fee for hosting an EN:Able Futures apprentice.  There are NO additional hidden costs.

• Contractors supporting the recruitment of EN:Able Futures apprentices are also ensuring that there is a skilled and qualified workforce ready to meet the industry’s future skills requirements.

• Supporting the placement of EN:Able Futures apprentices will contribute to contractors meeting any employment KPI obligations for YORhub and other Public Sector procurement frameworks and Private Developer schemes.
