Opportunity for an Assistant Framework Manager to join the EN:Procure team in Sheffield

EN:Procure is one of UK’s leading procurement consortia in the social housing sector. Established with the support of the Homes and Communities Agency in 2006 as a not for profit business to business services provider, the consortium has grown rapidly, with a membership of Yorkshire and Humber Social Landlords representing over 70% of the region’s social housing stock. Working closely with its members EN:Procure purchases works, services and materials contracts for its members, ranging from planned works through to new build housing schemes. Many of the contracts require detailed technical input to scope the works, prepare tender documentation, evaluate tenders, finalise contracts and implement works, requiring a balance of technical and commercial skills.

We are currently seeking an Assistant Framework Manager to join our hardworking team based at our offices in Meadowhall, Sheffield reporting to the Framework Manager. The role would ideally suit an individual who has recently qualified to NVQ level 3 or above in a construction related discipline. The job includes facilitating procurements and call offs from frameworks for supplies and works in line with the EU Procurement Directives, Public Contract Regulations and Framework conditions. This will entail the drafting and development of tender documentation, undertaking procurement evaluations and preparing contracts.

We ideally are seeking a candidate with:

  • NVQ level 3+ Construction qualification

  • Excellent administration, data, analytical and numerical skills

  • Basic understanding of Public Contracts regulations and EU procurement directives

  • Understanding of construction with commercial acumen

  • Understanding of Construction Contracts including JCT and NEC standard forms

A driving licence is required for the role. A pool car is available for business travel.
