Building construction skills at UK Rock Challenge

EN:Able Futures give 2-day taster in construction skills to over 1,000 young people at Magna Science Centre

In partnership with Yorkshire Builders Federation, EN:Able Futures spent an energetic two days engaging with over 1000 young people at Magna in Rotherham, delivering a range of construction skills related activities in our ‘Skills Pods.’

We would like to say a big thank you to Henry Boot and Soarbuild for their support on the day. We really appreciated their help.

The event was two lively days of music, dance, and construction skills. Together with all the talented young people that attended, we explored the links between construction and performance raised awareness of the world of construction and the built environment through performance.

We ran a number of activities and competitions across our time at Magna and met some fantastic young people who were all keen to learn more about the industry and ‘what construction is!’

We look forward to doing this again at the National Finals on 23rd July. If any business partners would like to join us there, please contact Mark or Catherine on 0330 606 1441.
