EN:Procure is seeking experienced and qualified contractors of all sizes to enter into 2 new Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS). One for the completion of a range of statutory compliance works and another for the completion of a range of installation, responsive repairs and maintenance works.
A DPS is a completely electronic process, conducted in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. There are no pricing schedules or specific requirements to complete at this stage. All contractors who meet the criteria will be admitted to the DPS’s. There is no limit to the number of contractors who can join the DPS’s, and contractors can join at any time via a series of rounds.
The scope of services and works to be undertaken via the Statutory Compliance DPS will include air source heat pumps and solar PV; lightning protection; water hygiene; sprinkler systems, fire compartmentation works, fire alarm systems and portable firefighting equipment; CCTV systems, access-controlled entry, warden call and intruder alarm systems.
The scope of works to be undertaken via the Installation, Responsive Repairs and Maintenance DPS is wide ranging and will include plumbing, heating & electrical works; damp surveys & remediation; gardening, grounds maintenance & fencing; minor civil engineering & drainage; general building; glazing & ironmongery; flooring; and electric car charging points.
In addition to an innovative and EU compliant procurement route, the DPS’s will offer a leading-edge supply chain for Efficiency North’s social housing landlord members, who own and manage more than 80% of the social housing stock within the region. It will also be instrumental in the success of EN’s strategy to support social mobility in the communities of member landlords by boosting local training and employment opportunities.

Emma Mottram, EN:Procure Head of Operations, commented; “The two new DPS’s present an opportunity to create a simple and speedy solution to purchasing a wide range of services. They’re both designed to encourage participation of SME contractors to offer a system of the highest quality and flexibility for our social housing landlord membership.”
