Drax Group transfers Levy to support apprentices in North Yorkshire

EN:Able Futures are incredibly grateful to Drax Group – the UK’s largest renewable electricity generator which owns Drax Power Station, near Selby - for donating some of its excess Apprenticeship Levy to support two apprentices.

Drax has kindly agreed to transfer some of its Apprenticeship Levy to fund two Civil Engineering Technician Apprentices.

As a large Apprenticeship Levy paying organisation, Drax can donate up to 25% of its excess accrued Apprenticeship Levy to organisations like EN:Able Futures who employ apprentices.

Louisa Russell, Drax Group Early Careers Manager, said: “I am excited about entering into our first levy transfer with EN:Able Futures and I hope that this arrangement will be mutually beneficial and more importantly support the development of two young people in the local area.”

Julie Deeley, Director of Operations, EN:Able Futures, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Drax to provide a bright future for two young apprentices. Apprenticeship Levy donations are so important for us to be able to continue our work developing and supporting apprenticeships in Northern England.”
