Futureworks (Yorkshire) joined the Efficiency North family during the summer and have since been planning our futures together. Aligned to this, we are entering our next phase of change and are proud to confirm formally that we are now operating as EN:Able Futures CIC and the branding transition is now in process.
It is important to recognise our name change together with our new logo, but our we are keen to ensure our values and ethos remain intact.
EN:Able Futures is an exciting new venture led by Efficiency North and set to be delivered by us. We are setting up an Academy as part of this, specifically to support the skills needs of the social housing sector across the region – you may have seen our adverts for a Development Coach and Apprentice.
We plan to continue to build your future across Yorkshire and Humber as we grow into our new name of EN:Able Futures. Following 4 years of operation as Futureworks Yorkshire, we are immensely proud of the fact we have employed over 220 apprentices, supported young people to achieve their career aspirations, won many awards and built strong employer and client partnerships. As far as we are concerned this will continue as we move forward, and we hope to shout about even more achievements in the very near future.
We are proud to be a part of the Efficiency North family, an organisation with whom we have had a long-standing relationship with, even to the point that our very first Futureworks Yorkshire apprentice was an Efficiency North apprentice! We all operate on a not-for-profit basis and share the same values and commitment to increasing training and employment opportunities in housing and construction in communities in the Yorkshire and Humber region that have been hardest hit by the current economic climate and the loss of traditional industries. We hope you will remain with us as we move forward on our journey.
