EN:Able Futures Learner of the Month January 2019

Join us in celebrating this month's Learner of the Month award

We’re proud to announce January's learner of the month, Amelia Johnson Lynch. Amelia is a Property Services Management Apprentice with Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing currently working towards her Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Constructing Contracting Operations.

Above, Amelia is pictured accepting her Learner of the Month award with EN:Able Futures development coach, Hannah Norton and President of ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers), Andrew Wylie.

Amelia is extremely proud of her hard work and always pushes herself to achieve the most out of her apprenticeship. She made the following comment to our team:

"I’d like to continue my education further so that I can become successful in a career in construction preferable quantity surveying, I want to be able to get a charted status with a RICS qualification as I know that is internationally recognised so that would give me a lot more options as to how to establish my career."

We're incredibly proud of Amelia and her achievements so far. We receieved the following feedback from her employer and development coach.

"Amelia is a valued member of the asset team. She is not afraid to ask probing questions in order to achieve the outputs required. She has an analytical approach to problems which serve her in good stead for self-development whilst also identifying the best interests of the team. She is a credit to Efficiency North." - Employer

"Amelia has a 100% record for attendance and punctuality, she has achieved distinctions in all work so far and has been assigned college work early due to completing before everyone else. Amelia works hard and has had consistently positive feedback from colleagues and teachers alike. This all being said I think Amelia still does struggle with her confidence (although completely misplaced because she is outstanding) and I feel this award will give her a boost and help us show her how amazing she is." - Hannah Norton, EN:Able Futures, Development Coach

As well as Amelia's fantastic Learner of the Month award achievement, she has also been nominated and shortlisted for the G4C Future Leader of the Year award.

Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing commented: "Our amazing  apprentice Amelia has been nominated for the G4C Future Leader of the Year Award. We're so proud to have Amelia in our team as a technical apprentice through the EN:Able Futures partnership. We feel like proud parents."

This is an outstanding achievement and we know she's destined to go far and achieve fantastic things following her apprenticeship.
