In January Hannah Norton joined the EN:Able Futures team as Development Coach for our brand new EN:Able Futures Academy after spotting our advert in our very own monthly newsletter.
In her own words, Hannah tells us more; "I’m really looking forward to getting to know everyone a little better and I’m excited to establish myself within my new role and to learn more about EN:Able Futures and Efficiency North, along with the great work they’re doing. I’m also really looking forward to getting to know and working with the students to support their progression while on programme.
"I previously worked for a small college in Barnsley where I specialised in Information, Advice and Guidance (I’m currently working towards my level 6 in this area) and my experience lies predominantly within learner engagement/recruitment, and IAG (Information, Advice & Guidance). I also have experience of supporting long term NEET young people and those who may struggle from a variety of barriers such as social, behavioural, learning or environmental difficulties and I’m passionate about helping these young people to overcome any hardships and to raise their aspirations.
"In my spare time I love to travel, in the past 10 months I’ve been lucky enough to visit Marseille, Gibralter, Florence, Pisa, Barcelona, Corsica, Genoa, Rome, Los Angeles………..and Skegness! I like to keep fit so I try to make the time to visit the gym frequently and in the warmer months you’ll find me hiking in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. I bought a house which is a ‘fixer upper’ so I’ve also made this my project outside of work with a view to eventually moving in, and I love spending time with my family."
The team welcome Hannah and wish her every success in this exciting new role.
